Challenge Impunity. Deliver Justice.
Around the world, war crimes perpetrators and terrorists continue to act with the expectation that they will never be held accountable. CIJA strives to challenge that assumption.
We investigate those responsible for atrocity crimes and secure the evidence needed to bring them before competent courts of law. We do this independently or by assisting credible national and international law enforcement. We collect and preserve evidence of the command and control structures behind international crimes, securing evidence to criminal justice standards, so that those who order and commit atrocities cannot hide behind chaos, conflict, or political protection.
Flexible donor support is critical to our mission. While our investigations are funded through project-specific grants, gifts allow us to move quickly, expand our reach, and secure vital evidence before it disappears.
Your gift helps us to:
Gather evidence beyond the reach of domestic and international justice institutions
Train and empower local investigators to meet rigorous criminal justice standards
Preserve and analyse evidence for use in future court proceedings
Support emerging democracies under attack to investigate and prosecute perpetrators effectively
Respond rapidly to emerging conflicts, when every moment matters
A one-time gift or recurring commitment ensures we can pursue justice wherever it is needed most.
Impunity fuels future crimes. Accountability helps stop them.
Stand with us. Help ensure perpetrators are held to account.
Donate to CIJA and support us in our aim to expand opportunities to achieve justice for a broad range of crimes that impact vulnerable populations across the globe, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, terrorism, human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
